Jon Martin has been a regular face on the New York club scene since the mid-1980′s. His personality and musical taste have been heavily influenced by dance floor legends including Frankie Knuckles, Lil Louis, Tony Humphries & Louie Vega, through his many sweaty nights dancing (and often working) at such legendary venues as the Choice, Better Days, Red Zone, Zanzibar, Vinyl, Palladium, Tracks, Club USA and Mars.
Since holding a variety of staff positions in these venues, he has sought out opportunities to expose the more soulful side of dance music – including Deep House, Garage Classics and various downtempo melodies – as a web designer, club promoter & TV host, as well as through his extensive NYC DJ residencies and international guest spots and his production, editing and remix work.
To date, Jon has played in venues throughout the United States and Europe. His production, edit and remix catalog is growing steadily, as has his web design portfolio, with new projects always underway. His work on a variety of websites has garnered accolates across the globe, and has created a much higher demand for his design work.
